**Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in Essex County Council's Adult Social Care department.

About the Role:

As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex and challenging adult cases, ensuring that adults and their families are safeguarded. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to share ideas and best practice, providing specialist advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing risk and developing purposeful interventions through direct work, commissioned services, and review.
  • Managing a caseload of complex and challenging adult cases.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

  • A qualified social worker with a current registration with Social Work England.
  • At least 1 year's experience in social work, with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Capability to practice in accordance with current professional standards.
  • Experience of chairing meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other multi-agency professionals.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community.
