About the Role:

We are seeking a Part Time Social Care Direct Advisor to join our team at Essex County Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and advice to callers on Social Care policies and services.
  • Identify and respond to urgent or critical situations by passing referrals to EDS Social Workers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the sharing of knowledge and new information.

About the Team:

You will be part of our Emergency Duty Service (EDS), which provides essential cover outside of normal office hours.
