Job Title: Part Time Social Care Direct Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part Time Social Care Direct Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and responding to enquiries and requests from the public, social care professionals, and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to enquiries and requests from the public, social care professionals, and other agencies
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice on social care policies and services
  • Identify and respond to urgent or critical situations by passing referrals to the EDS Social Workers
  • Ensure that all information is recorded quickly and accurately and is entered onto the appropriate database
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the sharing of knowledge and new information

Requirements:

  • GCSE level or equivalent by experience
  • Excellent typing and office based skills
  • Experience of working under pressure in a busy office environment
  • A working knowledge of standard ICT software and systems, in particular MS Word and Excel
