About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Novelus Ltd as Head of Furnace Division Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for advising clients on the best solutions to meet their unique requirements in the aerospace, defence, ceramics, heat treatment, automotive manufacturing, electronics, chemicals, and oil and gas industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing business relationships with high-level decision-makers in various industries
- Carrying out site visits with prospects and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Preparing and issuing bespoke quotations to meet client requirements
- Providing pre-sales advice and technical support on a wide range of products, including furnaces, heat treatment equipment, and instrumentation
- Liaising with our engineering departments to coordinate sales demonstrations, installations, and other sales-related activities
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience of furnace process and heat treatment machinery, including batch and continuous processes, industrial burners, combustion systems, furnace refractory linings, and control equipment
- Demonstrable sales experience as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or Sales Executive
- A degree-level technical engineering qualification is desirable
- Sales experience with furnaces, ovens, and associated industrial equipment is essential
- A full, clean UK driving license and a willingness to travel overseas are required
