About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Ledger Clerk to join our accounts payable team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices.

Main Duties:
  1. Verifying and reviewing all incoming invoices and credit notes for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, including online filing of invoices and credit notes.
  3. Assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing and reconciling accounts payable reports and statements.
  4. Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally within a multi-site organisation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to process high volumes of paperwork.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MAM, MS Office would be helpful, but not essential.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
