Clinical Support Worker for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programmes

About the Role
The University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Support Worker to join their Community Respiratory Service. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation programmes across South Lakes.
Main Responsibilities
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of pulmonary rehabilitation assessments, groups, and final assessments. Your duties will include:
- Phoning patients to support their journey through pulmonary rehabilitation
- Supporting patients to complete health questionnaires
- Taking basic clinical observations as part of fitness testing
- Conducting fitness testing under the supervision of a physiotherapist
- Working in a compassionate and respectful manner with patients, their relatives, and carers
- Cleaning equipment and complying with health and safety processes
- Writing up clinical notes using EMIS web clinical records system
- Entering clinical data into audit spreadsheets
- Moving and handling of equipment
- General clinical administration tasks as needed
