Clinical Support Worker for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs across South Lakes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation assessments, groups, and final assessments.
- Support patients in completing health questionnaires and taking basic clinical observations.
- Conduct fitness testing under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, including walk tests, strength tests, and functional assessments.
- Work collaboratively with patients, relatives, and staff to provide compassionate and respectful care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and enter data into our Audit spreadsheet.
University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust provides care outside of the hospital setting, including community locations and patients' own homes. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of people living with respiratory disease across Morecambe Bay.
Requirements- Level 3 Care Certificate or equivalent experience/training.
- Ability to communicate effectively and adjust communication style to meet the needs of service users.
- Flexibility to work alone in the community without direct supervision.
We offer a permanent contract with our Trust and a role aligned with the Community Respiratory Service. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of our Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs.
