About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Clinical Support Worker to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs across South Lakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of Pulmonary Rehabilitation assessments, groups, and final assessments.
  • Support patients in completing health questionnaires and taking basic clinical observations.
  • Conduct fitness testing under the supervision of a Physiotherapist, including walk tests, strength tests, and functional assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, relatives, and staff to provide compassionate and respectful care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and enter data into our Audit spreadsheet.

Requirements
  • Level 3 Care Certificate or equivalent experience/training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adjust communication style to meet the needs of service users.
  • Flexibility to work alone in the community without direct supervision.
