Experienced Learning Support Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with several Special Educational Needs and Disabilities providers across London, who are seeking experienced Learning Support Assistants / LSAs / Teaching Assistants to join their teams.
We offer a range of in-house career progression opportunities for our staff, demonstrating our commitment to providing quality staff. The estimated salary for this position is around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Position:
- Work in a variety of settings, including special schools and mainstream environments
- Provide support to students with SEND in a 1:1 learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized plans
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
- Excellent classroom management skills
- An NVQ Level 2 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification preferably
- Child and Adult DBS
- Experience working with Autism
