Epsom, Surrey, United Kingdom Academics Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team at Academics Ltd as a Learning Support Graduate. As a graduate with a passion for helping children with additional needs, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School.

In this role, you will be working in a small class, supporting students with speech, language and communicational needs. You will work in partnership with the school's teaching staff and support staff team to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' language acquisition. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, working alongside a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SALT).

The SEN School we are working with is located near Epsom and caters for children aged 4-19 who require the support of a specialised curriculum to enable them to thrive and reach their full potential. The school has a Therapy Department, consisting of Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

This role offers a range of benefits, including on-site training, support and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students. Key responsibilities of the Learning Support Graduate include assisting the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students, behaviour and pastoral support, and building robust and effective relationships with students.

This is a term-time only position, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00, with a salary range of £90-£110 per day. No previous experience is required, but if you have a Psychology/Criminology/Social Science degree, it's an excellent use of your degree.
