Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leadership and Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses, healthcare support workers, and flow coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead a team of nurses, healthcare support workers, and flow coordinators to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Clinical Governance: Ensure that all clinical practices and procedures are in line with Trust policies and procedures, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to these guidelines.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, their relatives, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure that care needs are met and that all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop and implement training programs to ensure that all staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid nursing registration.
  • Experience: Significant experience in a clinical leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and leading and managing a team of staff.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
