Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and guidance within the Allergy and Clinical Immunology specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide specialized knowledge and support to patients and their families in the field of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
  • Professional Development: Promote continuous learning and growth within the team, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create relevant policies and patient information materials that support standardized care across the care group.
  • Education and Training: Deliver educational sessions at the Kings Academy, national and international courses, and provide informal on-the-job training.
  • Research Participation: Contribute to research projects within the care group and specialty.
Requirements
  • Recognized teaching qualification
  • NMC Registration
  • Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification
  • MSc or working towards
  • Experience of working in partnership with multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable
  • Evidence of ability to compile reports and documents for internal / external communication
