Job Overview:

The role of a Senior Support Worker is a rewarding career path that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a member of our team, you will be working in various care homes within the Heanor, Ilkeston, Ripley, and Codnor areas, supporting elderly residents living with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Key Responsibilities:
* Follow established care plans to deliver tailored support to service users
* Conduct regular observation checks to ensure resident safety and well-being
* Engage in activities to promote social interaction and entertainment among residents
* Safely operate moving and handling equipment to assist residents as needed
* Uphold the highest standards of health and safety in the care environment

Vacancy Requirements:
* Current full and up-to-date CV
* Verifiable work history demonstrating at least 3 months paid UK experience in a care setting
* Valid Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service or dated within the past 6 months
* Relevant mandatory training certificates, dated within the past 12 months
* Exceptional communication skills

Remuneration: Competitive salary of £11.60 per hour for day shifts and £12.00 per hour for night shifts.
