Key Responsibilities

Role: Stress Engineer

Location: Rugby - full-time on-site

Duration: 12 months initially

Rate: Negotiable

Inside IR35: Umbrella only

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting stress analysis of components to ensure compliance with contractual requirements using FE techniques and hand calculation methods.
  2. Analysing components for plastic collapse, buckling, ratcheting, fatigue, rupture, natural frequency, and heat transfer.
  3. Identifying design deficiencies through analysis and proposing improvements to features.
  4. Analysing features and components for safe lifting during build and installation.
Requirements
  1. 7+ years of experience in Analysis of Mechanical Components.
  2. Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering.
