About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and process customer orders over the phone or via the internet
  • Make outbound courtesy calls to customers to check on their satisfaction and provide additional support
  • Support drivers with route planning and ensure that customers receive their orders on time
  • Update customer records and liaise with customer relatives as required
  • Provide customers with information on how to cook, store, and re-order their meals
  • Prepare promotional literature and communicate details of new products or promotions to customers
  • Search for new business opportunities and share best practices with colleagues to continuously improve our service proposition
About You

We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a customer service role and is confident using a personal computer to manage and process orders. You should have a confident telephone manner, be able to pay attention to detail, and be numerate and have good written English skills. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a candidate who is focused on excellent customer service, has a caring and empathic nature, and is able to communicate effectively with members of the public and their families. You should be able to take an active interest in getting to know every customer and become a trusted friend. A good listener, you will be able to treat every customer as an individual and have a very clear telephone voice. You should be able to work under your own initiative, plan your own day, and manage your own time.
