Role Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Children and Families Practitioner to join our team in the Locality Team. Based in Gloucestershire, this full-time role comes with a salary up to £38,223 per annum.

About the Position:
This role involves working closely with children and their families, providing comprehensive support and guidance. As a key member of the team, you will conduct assessments, develop plans, and engage in direct work to promote positive outcomes. You will also maintain accurate records on Liquid Logic and stay updated on relevant legislation, guidance, and council policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of children and families, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop SMART plans with children and families, promoting measurable goals and objectives.
  • Engage in direct work with children, young people, and families, fostering positive relationships and trust.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and statements, informing decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and review progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Stay informed about legislation, guidance, research, and council policy, applying this knowledge in practice.
  • Support and enhance personal and professional development, contributing to the growth of the team.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for children and young people, prioritizing their welfare.


Requirements:
A social work qualification or equivalent, along with registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England), is essential for this role.
