Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Wordings Specialist to join our Global Broking Centre team. As a key member of our Casualty Practice, you will play a critical role in guiding and supporting our clients to meet their goals, while helping us achieve ours.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that will work closely with our Global broking teams in London and offers a mix of office-based and remote working. As a Senior Wordings Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and agreeing on wordings documentation in a timely and professional manner, aligning with the best market practices and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate wordings documentation to ensure clarity and concision.
  • Take ownership of rejected wordings, working closely with brokers and clients to resolve technical issues until final agreement.
  • Participate in tender activity to review wording documentation incorporated within client submissions.
  • Contribute to the development of our product portfolio by ensuring facility wordings are in the optimum possible position.
  • Develop cross-team and internal relationships, collaborating on special projects to support our brokers in implementing tailored client solutions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience and knowledge of wordings and technical requirements relating to London Market placements, combined with an open and commercial approach.
  • Proven technical appreciation of client needs and the Insurance Market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding industry networking skills and knowledge.
  • Strong team-working capabilities, including the ability to positively influence outcomes.
  • Able to prioritize workload, lead projects, and complete tasks within timescales.
