The Travelers Companies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Wording and Technical Specialist to join the BSI Team. This role involves managing and drafting wordings for Financial Lines Products, collaborating with Business Unit leaders, Chief Underwriting Officer BSI, and Senior Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will have experience in London Market systems/processes and drafting underwriting policy wordings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Wording Development: Develop and control policy wordings across all lines of BSI business.
  • Collaboration and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with underwriters to ensure quality assurance and maintain awareness of legal and industry developments impacting policy coverage.
  • Product Development and Technical Expertise: Assist in product development and provide technical expertise to support the growth of Financial Lines Products.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical training and act as a reference point for underwriting staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Degree educated with relevant work experience in Financial Lines Products, including experience managing projects and drafting underwriting policy wordings.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead, influence, and build relationships at all levels, with strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
