Key Responsibilities
  • Review, amend, and draft policy wordings to ensure compliance with underwriters' intended depth and breadth of coverage.
  • Review market, competitor, and broker wordings against Travelers' standard cover and advise underwriters of differences and draft amending endorsements where required.
  • Act as a technical wordings reference point for underwriting business units and provide clarity and advice on wording issues.
  • Report wordings and documentation issues to underwriters/Manager on an exception basis.
  • Prioritize and resolve any wordings and documentation issues identified.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree standard.
  • Relevant wordings experience gained working within the Company or Lloyd's market.
  • Relevant work experience gained within Property, Casualty, or Motor (from either an Underwriting or Claims perspective preferably with a legal bias).
  • Previous exposure of London Market systems/processes beneficial.
