Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating closely with underwriters, legal counsel, and business unit leaders to develop and refine wordings that effectively mitigate risk and meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of policy wordings across all lines of Financial Lines business, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to review and refine wordings, guaranteeing alignment with underwriting guidelines and market best practices.
  • Stay abreast of legal and industry developments that may impact policy coverage, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the underwriting team, serving as a valuable resource for complex policy questions and interpretations.
  • Contribute to product development initiatives by providing insights on wordings and coverage options, ensuring that our offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, coupled with substantial experience in the Financial Lines insurance sector.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of managing projects and drafting comprehensive underwriting policy wordings.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of policy wordings.
