Business Development Representative

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our Commercial team at Activate Group Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Business Growth: Collaborate with the Head of Business Development and the commercial team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Lead Management and Initial Contact: Manage the sales inbox, act as the first point of contact for new prospects, and nurture relationships with potential clients.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate CRM data, draft proposals and presentations, and oversee the administration of customer and prospect relations.
- Industry Engagement: Attend site visits, industry events, and partner meetings to build relationships with key stakeholders and expand industry knowledge.
- Support New Business and Client Onboarding: Assist in acquiring new business, contribute to formal tender processes, and support onboarding and expanding services with current clients.
- Pipeline and Data Accuracy: Ensure that internal systems, pipelines, and CRM tools are consistently updated and accurate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with prospects, drafting proposals, and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage leads, track customer interactions, and maintain accurate data.
- Ability to handle initial prospect interactions, manage the sales cycle, and contribute to closing deals or expanding services.
- Efficient in managing tasks, keeping track of sales pipelines, meeting deadlines, and ensuring system data is consistently updated.
- Comfortable creating and delivering presentations to prospects and clients, supporting proposals, and attending industry events.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, stakeholders, and potential clients through site visits and events.
- Willingness to learn about formal tender processes, new business acquisitions, and customer onboarding while adjusting to various aspects of the role.
- Ability to work closely with the commercial team and other departments to support business development objectives.
