Trial Balance Consulting seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in the financial health of our client, a well-established Cornish services business.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and develop a small team of accounting colleagues
  • Manage multiple company accounts, producing timely management accounts and financial reports
  • Oversee AP/AR functions, cash flow management, and VAT reporting
  • Assist with year-end audit preparations and annual budget planning
  • Serve as a point of contact for external partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • AAT or professionally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes
  • Strong IT systems skills, particularly in MS Excel and Sage/Xero
  • Team management experience and commercial acumen

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: St Ives area, with onsite parking
