Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our mortuary department as an administrative support officer. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office, and maintaining accurate records.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the mortuary team, including managing databases and paperwork.
  2. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including demographic details and any amendments or corrections.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure mortuary equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and departmental protocols.
  4. Policy Development: Assist senior staff in developing and updating operational policies, guidance booklets, and other written materials.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You should have a GCSE level education or equivalent, including English and Maths.
