Senior Clinical Psychologist Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to lead our diabetes outpatient service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a senior leadership position with a salary of £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering a new clinical psychology service to diabetes services at NUH, providing psychological support for adults within diabetes. The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team staff within diabetes services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development and coordination of the diabetes outpatient service
  • Provide psychological support for adults within diabetes
  • Work closely with the MDT staff within diabetes services
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological treatments
  • Manage and supervise a team of clinical psychologists and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • Doctorate level clinical psychology professional qualification
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS
  • Experience of working in clinical health psychology and diabetes services
