Maths Teacher Wanted in Oxfordshire
We are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at an Independent School in the North of Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS3 and 4 students, with the option to also teach KS5. We value well-being as much as academic success and offer pastoral support to ensure every student thrives.
Main Responsibilities:- Possess a deep understanding of the Maths curriculum and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
- Maintain a professional classroom environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department.
- Assess students' performance, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Plan and implement comprehensive lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
- Adhere to school policies and promote a positive learning culture.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification for secondary school teaching.
- Have recent experience teaching Maths in a mainstream school setting and possess strong classroom management skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in Maths and related fields, preferably with a relevant degree.
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is advantageous.
