Clinical Psychologist

The role of Clinical Psychologist in the Gloucestershire CAMHS Harmful Sexual Behaviour Team requires a deep understanding of child development, psychology, and the complexities of working with children who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and delivering treatment programs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or related field, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience working with children and adolescents who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour, preferably in a CAMHS setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, families, and professionals.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £53,755 to £60,504 per annum, plus excellent benefits, including ongoing training and development opportunities, career progression pathways, and a supportive work environment.
