Senior Mental Health Specialist

Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke is recruiting a Senior Mental Health Specialist to join their part-time team. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users, while also benefiting from a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
About the RoleThis part-time position involves working 32 hours per week across 4 days, providing mental health services, including assessments, therapy, and training. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to develop care plans, conduct research, and contribute to the hospital's growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mental health services, including assessments, therapy, and training
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans
- Contribute to clinical research and service development
- Provide expert supervision and guidance to colleagues
Requirements:
- AHCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience in a Clinical or mental health setting
- Minimum 3 years qualified experience
- Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT
- Passionate about working with people with complex mental health needs
