Senior Clinical Psychologist for Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to join our CAMHS Harmful Sexual Behaviour Team. The successful candidate will provide highly specialist clinical mental health services to children and adolescents with complex needs, including those who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour.
The role requires a strong background in clinical psychology, with experience in assessment, formulation, and treatment of children with complex psychological needs. You will be working closely with other professionals to provide a comprehensive service to our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing highly specialist psychological consultation, assessment, and intervention services to individuals and groups.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to address complex psychological needs.
- Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
- Significant experience in child and adolescent mental health, including working with children who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour.
