Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the upkeep of our modern facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our school remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring space for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee daily operations and maintenance, ensuring that our buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for safety, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of cleaning and maintenance personnel, as well as contractors, to achieve operational excellence.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and improvements, ensuring efficiency and value.
  • Project Leadership: Lead refurbishment projects from inception to completion, enhancing the school environment.
  • Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures to ensure campus safety.
  • Community Relations: Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, addressing facilities-related issues with professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational context.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
