Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our state-of-the-art educational facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Direct the daily operations and upkeep of the school's premises, ensuring all buildings and grounds are well-maintained.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Serve as the primary contact for health and safety, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to uphold safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a dedicated team of maintenance personnel, cleaners, and contractors to achieve high standards.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring efficiency and value.
  • Project Leadership: Lead refurbishment initiatives from conception to completion, enhancing the school environment.
  • Security Management: Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard the campus.
  • Community Relations: Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external partners, addressing facility-related issues with professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational context.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
