Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Facilities Operations Manager to ensure our campus remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for both students and staff. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Oversight: Manage the daily operations and upkeep of the school’s facilities, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and functional.
  • Health & Safety Management: Serve as the primary contact for health and safety, conducting regular inspections and assessments to uphold compliance with regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of maintenance personnel, custodians, and contractors to achieve operational excellence.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Project Coordination: Lead refurbishment initiatives from inception to completion, enhancing the school’s facilities.
  • Security Management: Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard the campus.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external partners, addressing any facilities-related inquiries with professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational context.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
