Position Overview:

We are searching for a committed and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance of our state-of-the-art facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our school remains a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the school, ensuring all buildings and grounds are well-maintained.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Act as the primary contact for safety matters, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments to uphold health and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a dedicated team of cleaning and maintenance personnel, ensuring high standards of service.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Project Leadership: Lead refurbishment initiatives from planning through to execution, enhancing the school environment.
  • Security Management: Implement and oversee security protocols to ensure the safety of the campus.
  • Community Relations: Foster strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders, addressing any facilities-related concerns professionally.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management, preferably in an educational context.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
