Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at Amnis Education. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Centre Manager to support teaching staff in working with young people and those with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and PBPs
- Establish productive working relationships with pupils
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Support colleagues in managing pupils' behaviour
Requirements:
- GCSE A* - C in Mathematics and English, or equivalent
- Full working knowledge of relevant policies and codes of practice
- Awareness of themes underlying Keeping children Safe in Education
- Previous experience of working in a specialist setting
