We are seeking a highly skilled Tutor to join our team at an SEN school in Workington. As a Teaching Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASC, MLD, and ADHD.

You will be responsible for delivering tailored 1:1 sessions, developing positive relationships with students, and maximising their engagement and attainment. A strong understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience working in an SEN or PRU setting are highly desirable.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 sessions for students with a range of additional needs
  • Develop differentiated lesson plans based on individual learning needs
  • Work closely with pupils aged across KS3 - KS4, teaching Maths, English, Science, and Personal Skills

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one)
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • A QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • The legal right to work in the UK
