We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to work in a busy foundation stage unit within a large primary school in central Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and work alongside the class teacher and another TA to provide an educational and fun-filled day for children
  • Experience working within a school setting
  • Clear understanding of the early years curriculum
  • Support pupils with behaviour issues
  • Support pupils with Social, emotional and mental health difficulties, sensory and physical needs
  • Capable of aspiring pupils to achieve outstanding results

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) Qualification
  • Diploma or Degree in an Education based subject
