About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Activity Therapist to join our team at Electus Healthcare's Olderfleet Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents.

As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with our care team to develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver activity programs that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and the care team
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents
  • Contribute to the development of a person-centered care approach

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a care home setting, preferably with a focus on dementia care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on people's lives
