About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activity Therapist to join our team at Electus Healthcare. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents with complex dementia care needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to create and support a stimulating and engaging activity programme that enhances the quality of life for each resident. This will involve getting to know our residents, building positive relationships, and creating a friendly atmosphere within the home.

As an Activity Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing person-centered care. We foster a culture of inclusivity, empowerment, and collaboration, and we are committed to the professional development of all our team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive environment within the home
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
