About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Therapist to join our team at Electus Healthcare. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents with complex dementia care needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to create and support a stimulating and engaging activity program that enhances the quality of life for each resident. This will involve getting to know our residents, building positive relationships, and creating a friendly atmosphere within the home.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our care team to develop and implement person-centered care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and care staff
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement person-centered care plans
  • Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive environment within the home
