About The Role
This a brilliant permanent opportunity, paying a competitive salary and company benefits.
The Olderfleet unit that we are recruiting for will offer specialist care for residents who have complex dementia care needs. Due to the complexity of the care that will be delivered, anyone working in this unit will have to undertake specialist training for dementia care, challenging behaviour, descalation and crisis prevention techniques. This will be a face-to-face training programme that will be delivered within the home.
The ideal candidates are those who already have experience within a care home setting and who have a keen interest in furthering their career in a more specialist and unique service. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on peoples lives.
The Activity Therapist is a vital role, this role requires you to work as part of our support team to deliver excellent care to much-loved residents. You will create/support a stimulating and developing activity programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the nursing home
As part of this role you will also be required to get to know our residents, building positive relationships and creating a friendly atmosphere within the home. At Electus Healthcare we make a difference every day, we evolve, adapt, and we are better together.
