Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Manager to join our team at Lloyd's. As a key member of our Operational Resilience Centre of Excellence, you will be responsible for ensuring the Corporation's business continuity and crisis management capabilities are aligned with regulatory requirements.
Your primary focus will be on the Response aspect of Operational Resilience, supporting the wider project team to embed new UK regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the Operational Resilience team to drive and support capability and compliance across the Society.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all crisis response teams have sufficient training and knowledge to respond to disruption.
- Maintain Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plans, ensuring they are appropriately tested for all Corporation departments and International Offices.
- Deliver the annual self-assessment for approval by the SMF 24 holder and the Board in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the day-to-day operational resilience of Lloyd's Important Business Services and supporting capabilities.
- Own and mature the Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Policies.
Requirements:
- Experience of successfully managing risk in a large commercial environment.
- Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies at Board level.
- Extensive risk management experience, preferably in the area of operations.
- Experience in dealing with complex regulatory communication and negotiation.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and ability to apply business continuity and crisis management principles, theories, and practices.
