Operational Resilience Business Continuity Manager

Role/Department
The Operational Resilience Business Continuity Management (BCM) Team Manager will support the Operational Resilience Central Team and Practice Lead in coordinating Business Continuity Management across Business Units and Corporate Functions.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting the analysis of business continuity requirements and developing robust recovery strategies.
- Implementing and embedding the Operational Resilience framework and Business Continuity requirements across Business Units and Corporate Functions.
- Developing and maintaining Operational Resiliency plans that facilitate the recovery of key resources, people, processes, technology, facilities, and vendors.
- Understanding business exposures and potential business impacts.
- Reporting on Business Continuity Risks.
- Providing management reporting regarding recovery capabilities and remediation activities.
- Working with the Non-Financial Risk function and Business Continuity stakeholders to develop and maintain Business Continuity strategies, policies, and standards.
- Identifying and solving complex, operational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the Operational Resiliency department.
Skills/Experience
- Substantial experience in Business Continuity Management/Operational Resiliency.
- Manages related teams, sets team priorities, and allocates resources to align with business objectives.
- Working knowledge of the appropriate standards and regulations, e.g., ISO22301 and FCA/PRA/FFIEC/BoE, and other country regulator's publications in relation to Business Continuity Management/Operational Resilience.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Business continuity Management technology tools, specifically in relation to Fusion.
- Management skills; proven stakeholder engagement experience, engaging and inclusive management style, with experience of having managed Business Continuity/Operational Resilience/Incident Management/operational processes/risk management initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functions to achieve measurable results.
