Primary Teacher for SEN Pupils

We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to join our team at a special school in Moseley, South Birmingham.
Our highly skilled staff work closely with children and their families to promote independence, social skills, and effective communication among pupils with diverse needs.
Job Description:The successful candidate will support pupils aged 5-11 years with diverse needs, including cognition and learning, speech, language, and communication difficulties, as well as physical, sensory, and medical needs.
The teacher will have opportunities to develop strategies for promoting independence, social skills, and effective communication among children.
Key Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- At least 6 months of experience teaching in a special school setting
- Possession of a TEAM TEACH Certificate (desirable)
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
- A competitive salary: £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- A referral scheme offering up to £100 for successful referrals
