Aspire People is seeking an experienced and passionate Primary School Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to fill a full-time role in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching SEN groups or classes across all key stages and be able to support students with various needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach SEN groups or classes, promoting academic and personal growth
  • Support students with diverse needs, adapting instruction to meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, incorporating differentiated instruction
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, maintaining open relationships

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching SEN groups or classes
  • Up-to-date and clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the update service
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive learning environment
  • Good written and communication skills, inspiring students and colleagues alike
  • Resilience and patience, essential for supporting students with varying needs

Estimated Salary: £42,500 - £62,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
