Job Overview

The Royal Society of Biology is seeking a highly skilled Training and Registers Officer to support the development and delivery of our training programs.

This role will involve working closely with the Director responsible for Accreditation, Training and Professional Registers to ensure the successful implementation of our training agenda.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, a strong understanding of the biology sector, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of training programs to meet the needs of our members and the wider scientific community.
  • Provide administrative support to the Professional Registers and the Accreditation program to ensure growth and high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with the Director responsible for Accreditation, Training and Professional Registers to ensure the successful implementation of our training agenda.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including members, staff, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Excellent administrative skills, including experience of working with databases and spreadsheets.
  • Strong understanding of the biology sector and its key issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including members, staff, and external partners.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
