Quality Assurance Specialist

GE Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.
About the Role
This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques. You will work closely with our Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Additionally, you will lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
Responsibilities
- Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
- Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification. You must also have a strong knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at GE Aviation, you can expect a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
