Job Description:
GE Aviation seeks a highly skilled Product Quality Assurance Specialist to deliver new product designs from concept stage through to finished products ready for manufacture. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of quality systems, measurement tools and techniques, as well as experience with Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part Approval Processes (PPAP) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of new product designs, including assisting with quality-related issues within the manufacturing team, identifying root cause and instigating permanent corrective actions, and working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and Microsoft programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
