Job Description

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Quality Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems and measurement tools and techniques. You will work closely with our Engineering team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Additionally, you will lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred, or HNC, or equivalent NVQ level 4 qualification. You must also have a strong knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP), Part approval processes (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
