Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Protection Specialist to join our team, contributing to the safe management of radiation risks and promoting best practice in radiation protection.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice on radiation protection and safety issues;
  • Implementing radiation protection policies and procedures;
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate radiation risks;
  • Supporting the development of site health physics procedures and documentation;
  • Producing training materials and presentations on radiation protection and health physics topics;
  • Contributing to new build projects and emergency response arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in a field such as Physics, Chemistry, or Nuclear Engineering;
  • Significant experience in radiation protection and safety;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
