Assistant Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Eastway in Chester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with a Learning Disability.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with our Clinical Psychologist, receiving regular Clinical Supervision and guidance. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through direct and indirect work with service users, as well as participate in training opportunities and contribute to audit and small-scale research projects.
CWP provides a range of health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health, and all-age disability care. Our aim is to provide compassionate, person-centred care, and we were recently rated as Outstanding for Caring by the Care Quality Commission.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality care to service users.
- Develop and implement clinical skills through direct and indirect work with service users.
- Participate in training opportunities and contribute to audit and small-scale research projects.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in psychology or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
