Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Principal Clinical Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological services to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership within the inpatient service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and treatment plans. You will also be involved in service development, training, and supervision of junior staff.
Main Duties- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and maintain a systematic, high-quality psychology service for patients accessing the First Response Service and the Rehabilitation Service.
- Work closely with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, locality leadership team(s), and speciality clinical network to enhance and evaluate the psychological care offer provided by a multi-professional workforce.
- Provide training, consultancy, supervision, and support to multi-professional staff, teams, and managers.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration.
