Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Principal Clinical Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality psychological services to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and professional leadership within the inpatient service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain a systematic, high-quality psychology service for patients accessing the First Response Service and the Rehabilitation Service.
Main Duties of the Job- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention, and input to care and treatment planning and discharge planning for individual patients.
- Develop and maintain a systematic, high-quality, evidence-based psychology service for patients accessing the First Response Service and the Rehabilitation Service.
- Work with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, locality leadership team(s), and speciality clinical network to enhance and evaluate the psychological care offer provided by a multi-professional workforce.
- Provide training, consultancy, supervision, and support to multi-professional staff, teams, and managers.

Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, HCPC registration, and experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist. They will also have experience of providing consultation, training, support, and supervision/reflective practice to other professionals and non-professionals, as well as experience of working in multidisciplinary teams and service development.
